CODE OF CONDUCT

Introduction/Policy Statement

Wiltipoll Sheep Breeders Association Incorporated (referred to as WSBA from hereon) expects

all members to act lawfully, honestly, ethically and with integrity at all times and in every

aspect of their involvement with WSBA. Members are accountable for their own actions in

accordance with any relevant legislation and all other applicable laws and standards.

Scope

All members agree to be bound by this Code of Conduct as part of their membership. This

Code of Conduct applies to all communications, conversations and interactions as members

of WSBA.

The WSBA Committee is responsible for the culture of the Association and will ensure the

Code of Conduct is communicated and accessible to members. Should not compliance occur

the Committee will be guided by its Constitution.

All members of WSBA will:

• Treat other members with respect, courtesy, and sensitivity, considering other

members individual experiences and views.

• Strive to build a harmonious ‘group based on values in action.

• Always act in an inclusive and non-discriminatory manner towards other members.

• Act with honesty and integrity and make decisions that are fair and equitable.

• Act fairly and honestly when representing WSBA.

• Apply their skills, knowledge and experience with due diligence and care.

• Uphold the organisation’s vision, mission, and values.

• Comply with all relevant legislation, standards, and other compliance mechanisms.

• Refrain from providing false or misleading information in relation to WSBA, its

members or Committee.

• Be accountable for their own actions.
